Medical Marijuana Use Registry
The MMU Registry, also known as the Medical Marijuana Use Registry, requires medical marijuana patients and/or marijuana patient caregivers to have an identification card issued by the OMMU, Office of Medical Marijuana Use.
Qualifications
Patients must have a qualifying condition as outlined by Florida law. These conditions include cancer, epilepsy, glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, PTSD, ALS, Crohn’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and other debilitating medical conditions comparable to those enumerated.
Doctor’s Recommendation
Our physician will determine whether a patient is a candidate for a medical marijuana card. This determination will be based on the medical records provided by the patient which states their qualifying condition.
Patient Registry
Upon your physician’s approval, they will enter the patient’s information into the Medical Marijuana Use Registry, which is an online portal maintained by the Florida Department of Health.
Application Submission
Patients must then submit an online application through the Medical Marijuana Use Registry. This includes personal information, proof of residency in Florida, and a payment for the required fee.
Card Issuance & Dispensary Visit
Once the application is approved by the Florida Department of Health, patients will receive their medical marijuana card by mail. Nonetheless, our patients can visit the dispensary the same day they are approved with valid Florida ID.
As long as you have an active registration and recommendation, patients can purchase medical marijuana products from licensed dispensaries in Florida.
